Nevada Wage Report

Upload Nevada wage reports using ProPay and the State of Nevada Employment Security Services website.

ProPay generates wage report files for Nevada quarterly unemployment insurance reporting. You create the report in ProPay and upload it through the Nevada Employment Security Services (ESS) website.

Before You Begin

You need:

  • Nevada ESS account and login credentials
  • Quarter ending date for filing
  • Employee data correctly entered in ProPay

Generate the Wage Report in ProPay

  1. Open ProPay.
  2. Go to Client Functions > Electronic Functions > Magnetic Media.
  3. Select State Quarterly Magnetic Media Filing from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the client(s) to include in your filing upload.
  5. Generate the wage report file.
  6. Print the internal report (detailed or summary) for your records.
  7. Save the file to your computer.

Upload the Wage Report

  1. Visit the Nevada ESS website: https://ui.nv.gov/ess.html
  2. Enter your credentials to log in.
  3. Click File a Report. You are redirected to the login page.
  4. Complete the login process on the Nevada website.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your wage report generated by ProPay.
  6. Review the submission summary before confirming.
  7. Save or print the confirmation for your records.

File Format Notes

ProPay generates the Nevada wage report in the format required by the Nevada Employment Security Services. The file contains quarterly wage and unemployment insurance information for all selected clients.

File location: ProPay saves the file in your default Mag Media folder (typically `C:\PAYSOFT\PROPAY26`).

Troubleshooting

Cannot access the Nevada website:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try using a different web browser

Login issues on the Nevada website:

  • Ensure you are using the correct credentials
  • If you forgot your password, use the "Forgot Password" option
  • Contact Nevada's support team for account-related issues

Problems generating the wage report in ProPay:

  • Verify that all employee data is correctly entered
  • Ensure you selected the correct reporting period
  • Check for any error messages in ProPay and address them accordingly

Upload errors on the Nevada website:

  • Confirm that your report file is in the correct format
  • Check the file size and ensure it does not exceed the maximum limit
  • Verify that all required fields are completed in the report

Missing clients in the report:

  • Review the client selection during file creation (step 4)
  • Check the internal report to verify which clients are included
  • Regenerate the file if a client is missing
