Running ProPay in AWS

ProPay can be installed on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud server. This lets you access your payroll system from anywhere with an internet connection, and makes it easier to set up remote access for your team.

What This Guide Covers

This documentation walks you through setting up an AWS environment for ProPay, including:

  • Launching and configuring an EC2 instance
  • Configuring networking and security groups
  • Setting up a VPC with site-to-site VPN (optional but recommended)

Optional: VPC with Site-to-Site VPN

A Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with a site-to-site VPN connection lets you extend your office network into AWS. Your cloud server becomes accessible like any other device on your local network.

This configuration is optional but recommended if you want seamless connectivity between your office and cloud environments.

Important Disclaimers

Configuration Variability: Each AWS setup differs based on specific company requirements. The settings in this guide are examples that you must adapt to your environment.

Professional Recommendation: We strongly advise hiring an IT specialist with AWS experience to assist with this configuration. Cloud networking involves complex security and connectivity decisions.

Support Limitations: While ProPay technical support remains available via desktop sharing for software issues, Paysoft cannot troubleshoot AWS configuration problems. You must consult your network administrator or AWS support for infrastructure issues.

Warranty: This documentation is provided AS-IS without warranty or claims of any kind.
