South Carolina Wage Report
Create and upload South Carolina wage reports (UCE-101/120) using ProPay and the South Carolina Business One Stop (SCBOS) website.
Overview
ProPay generates UCE-101/120 Report wage reporting files for South Carolina quarterly unemployment insurance reporting. You create the file in ProPay and upload it through the SCBOS Automated Tax System.

Before You Begin
You need:
- South Carolina Automated Tax System account and login credentials
- Quarter ending date for filing
- Client selection prepared
Important: SCBOS UCE-101/120 filings are for one business only. However, you can complete multiple filings, add them to the Shopping Cart, and check out all at once using a single payment.
Create the Wage Reporting File
- Open ProPay.
- Go to Client Functions > Electronic Functions > Magnetic Media.
- Select State Quarterly Magnetic Media Filing from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the client(s) you want to include in your filing upload.
- Create the file.
- Print the internal report (either detailed or summary) for your records.
- Save the file.
Upload to South Carolina Automated Tax System
- Visit the South Carolina Automated Tax System website.
- Log in to submit either an individual account or multiple employer accounts.
- Select the corresponding tab based on your submission type.
- Follow the prompts to upload your UCE-101/120 file.
- Add filings to the Shopping Cart if filing for multiple businesses.
- Check out all filings at once using a single payment that charges one bank account.
Multiple Employer Accounts
If you need to file for more than one business within a single filing:
- Visit the Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) website.
- Contact DEW at (803) 737-2400 to arrange for this type of filing.
Troubleshooting
Unable to select clients for filing upload:
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access client data
- Verify that the clients are properly set up in the ProPay system
- Restart the ProPay application and try again
File creation error:
- Check that all required fields for the selected clients are filled out correctly
- Ensure you have sufficient disk space to save the file
- Try creating the file for one client at a time to isolate any potential data issues
Cannot log in to the South Carolina Automated Tax System:
- Verify your internet connection
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again
- Ensure you are using the correct login credentials
- If the issue persists, contact the South Carolina DEW for assistance
