Background Picture

Set a custom background picture for ProPay, such as your company logo.

Overview

ProPay supports background pictures on Windows. You can use a company logo or other image as the background for the ProPay interface.

Image Requirements

The background picture must be:

  • A Windows Bitmap (.BMP) file format
  • Saved in the same subdirectory (folder) as the ProPay program
  • Located in the \PROPAY\ folder

Setting Up a Background Picture

Option 1: Using an existing bitmap file

  1. Copy your .BMP file to the \PROPAY\ subdirectory.
  2. Start ProPay.
  3. Go to Utilities > Background Picture.
  4. Choose your bitmap file from the list.
  5. Click OK to apply.

Option 2: Converting from other formats

If you have a picture in a different format (such as .JPG or .GIF):

  1. Open the image in Windows Paint (PBRUSH.EXE).
  2. Click File > Save As.
  3. In the Save as type dropdown, select Bitmap of Windows (*.BMP).
  4. Save the file.
  5. Copy the saved .BMP file to the \PROPAY\ folder.
  6. Follow the steps in Option 1 above.

Adjusting the Preview

If a picture is not completely visible within the selection dialog's preview boundaries:

  1. Double-click the left mouse button inside the preview frame.
  2. Readjust the image position inside the frame.
  3. Click OK when satisfied.

Important Notes

  • The background picture does not alter the Windows desktop background.
  • Each workstation running ProPay may have its own background image.
  • The image only appears within the ProPay application, not system-wide.
  • Large or complex images may slow down screen performance.
