Email Error 385

Problem

When you attempt to send an email from ProPay, the operation fails with the following error message:

Sending email - Error 385 - failed to create global object

Solution

This error indicates that the ChilkatAx.dll file needs to be registered with Windows.

Register the ChilkatAx.dll file

1. Close ProPay.
2. Click Start and type cmd.
3. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
4. Type the following command and press Enter:

_CODE_BLOCK_0_

1. You should see a success message confirming the registration.
2. Open ProPay and try sending the email again.

The email should now send successfully.
